Surrogacy of Indian Politics

India, a strong country armed with excellent minds and technology. This colorful country is known for its 3 Cs cricket, curry and sorrowfully corruption. These days our country is drenched in the fervor of elections, the 16th lok sabha elections. Every Indian is expecting a positive change. A change that will give us a better status in world politics, better relations with other countries, better job opportunities and most importantly better roads and other infrastructure.
From last 6 months we are hearing the politicians roaring about what change they will bring to the nation if voted to power, but have we ever thought of what change has the ruling party brought to this nation? Is the poverty ratio decreasing or the BPL is decreasing, is the literacy rate increasing or students in school are dying of stale food, are the communal riots coming to end or Mujjafarnagar/Assam incidents are getting familiar, are we, the young Indians getting right opportunities to showcase our talents??And the sole answer to all these questions is No. This is very disheartening that the vision 2020 by our Ex. President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is getting blurred in this quest of coming to the power. But do these parties really have the political willingness to develop the nation, the common man of the nation.
That is why this time the Indian citizen is quite conscious and is voting with enthusiasm. This was the saturation point for the people who were the blind spectators of insurgency, lawlessness and savage treatment to women .A society is said to be sophisticated only when its lower classes are treated with respect and are allowed to progress equally and for me this is the real meaning of democracy. What we really need to see after these elections is that the new formed government is for the people and not for the party and their allies. And if this does not happen then we really will have to look into ourselves, because we will be responsible for selling our future in wrong hands for sake of money and fear.

So folks I guess its the right juncture to turn the C for corruption into C for CHANGE. What we need to do is to just think of our country before ourselves.Get to know our candidate, read about his/her work and his/her interest for the nation from various sources as :-

Discuss about the problems of the constituency, compare manifestos of different political parties and then vote.

Let's be vigilant and be the change we want to see.......
